I rode to the shoot with Dana Stuart, my boss. We met at work, got everything together and headed on out to Santa Ana. I was excited yet nervous. I had done hair for photos before, but this was VERY different, VH1 was going to be there, with cameras in our faces...mics above us.
As soon as we got there we were greeted by the amazing Satu, the photographer for the photo shoot. She does amazing work and is a great pleasure to work with!! Next I was introduced to Tracy. She was the stylist. The clothes she brought were amazing and beautiful, be sure to check out her online store, Domino Dollhouse. I then met Ryiah, she was assisting Satu on the photo shoot. I was then introduced to my model, Tiffany. She was amazing, sweet, beautiful and great fun to be around!
As I started working on Tiffany's hair I got to meet the amazing make-up artist on set, Erica. She was great to work with, professional, yet fun. As soon as we were almost complete the crew for VH1 showed up.
They recorded Erica and I freshening up Tiffany's make-up and hair. They shot Dana doing things that I never thought she would do, hahha. The entire photo shoot was recorded, all of Satu's beautiful work as well as her direction for her beautiful model. The crew from VH1 was great fun as well, the
Let me just tell you, I don't think I have worked with such great and fun people. I felt comfortable with each and every one of them. It was definitely an experience that I loved and will never forget. Lets all hope that this show makes it....and watch it when they pick it up and it's on air. I will find out if it gets on air, the name and when it airs so you all can watch and cheer on Tiffany, the Queen Bee!!
Ladies, if any of you are reading this, I truly enjoyed our time! I hope to work with all of you again in the future.
