This story is about someone close to me, it has almost everything people are looking for these days, vampires, damsel in distress, werewolves and zombies...I hope you enjoy!!
Today was any other morning so far for Jane, she got up, got ready for work...and walked into the office. Just like every other day, she didn't want to be there and couldn't wait for the day to be over. Now, the only thing that kept her somewhat content was a guy she worked with. His name was Gage. She always wanted to talk to him, but for some reason hadn't yet. Today was going to be the day, she decided.
Now, just like the rest of us, she had people at work that she was friends with and those that she wanted to vanish. She had a friend, Lacy, that she was really close with. Jane would do anything for Lacy and figured Lacy would do the same for her. This day she learned the reality...that Lacy was just a pawn in an evil plot to destroy her! The evil that Lacy answered to went by the name of Tony....a tall, thin and grossly pale looking man. He wasn't old, yet looked like he was ancient! Not one person could stand to look directly at his grotesque face.
As Jane had decided she was going to approach Gage, she rose from her chair and began to walk to his desk. Almost there she was met by the one person she wished didn't exist.
"And where are you going Jane?" Tony asked in his shaky, creepy voice.
"None of your business Tony! Why don't you go bother someone else, I'm not in the mood for your games today." Jane replied with irritation in her voice.
Tony grabbed Janes arm tight, "The only place you are going is with me!" He pulled her down the stairs and out to his car. There Lacy was waiting with rope and tape! They tied Jane up and threw her in the trunk. After what seemed like an hour the car finally came to a stop. The trunk popped open and Tony pulled Jane from the car just to place her inside an old Mausoleum in an old graveyard. The sun was just starting to set and Jane was wondering what he was doing and why!
"Why did you kidnap me, you idiot?" Jane asked Tony.
"Shut your mouth! Don't you talk to him that way, he deserves much more respect." Lacy finally spoke.
Shocked that Lacy was even a part of this, let alone standing up for this moron Jane had to respond, "Hey Lacy, you should keep your mouth shut, you back stabbing whore! I was talking to Tony, not you!"
"I brought you here so I could get what you have of mine...How you got it, I don't know, but you must give it to me, or I will leave you here to die!" Tony replied.
In the meantime, back at the office, Gage went looking for Jane. As she had a thing for him, he felt the same way and decided he was going to go talk to her. When he arrived at her desk and saw she wasn't there, he knew something was wrong. There was a dark secret about Gage, that no one knew. He was a vampire, able to walk during sunlight hours due to a lotion he created. Now, he could hear for miles, smell Janes smell..and he knew who had her. He smelled Tonys horrid wretched scent! He knew just where to look for her.
Back at the graveyard Jane was trying her hardest to figure out what Tony was talking about. She would never want anything that was his. If she accidentally grabbed something of his, she would gladly give it back, who knows how gross it was anyways. Little did Jane know that what she had wasn't really Tonys at all, it was a gem that would give him certain powers. Now, another thing that only Tony and Lacy knew was that that Tony was a werewolf. He needed this gem so that he and his pack could defeat the vampires that they claim are the enemy. Just so you know, the vampires don't see the werewolves as enemies, they always just thought of them as equals, but I guess werewolves feel like they aren't as good because they are just mangy dogs after all. Anyways, back to our story. So, Tony searches in Janes bag that Lacy had grabbed. Nothing was there.
"Where is the gem?" Tony growled....he was beginning to turn.
"Why are you so hairy Tony? And what gem are you talking about?? The one I bought at that garage sale?? The Blue one?" Jane asked.
"YES!! That one, tell me where it is now, before the zombies come out for a midnight snack...." Tony responded with a giggle.
"Zombies?? What the hell is going on?? Zombies aren't real...and why in the hell are you looking more and more like a dog....WHAT IS GOING ON??" Jane was starting to get scared.
Before anyone could answer, Gage appeared. "Release Jane NOW! She doesn't have the gem with her, I have it!" Gage pulled it from his pocket.
"Ok, seriously, what is going on? Gage, how did you know where I was and how did you get here so fast?" Jane was starting to think maybe she didn't know everything about these people at this point.
"There is something you need to know, Jane. Tony is a werewolf, that gem will give him extreme powers so that he can enslave the vampires, like Gage. The Zombies live here in this cemetery, they are not able to leave due to shock collars the government has placed on them so no one would know they really exist." Lacy filled Jane in on everything in a matter of minutes.
Before Jane could say anything Gage was untying her and releasing her. He told her to run before the Zombies would smell that she was there. He then tied up Lacy and left her in Janes place. Tony tried to grab for the gem, but Gage was just too quick. "Nice try Tony, but next time you will need to get an assistant that is a bit smarter.....and well, you yourself could be a bit smarter as well, thinking you could ever enslave my kind."
Gage grabbed Jane and got her out of there. He took her home and laid her down, she had passed out from exhaustion. When Jane woke up, she thought it was all a dream, until she saw Gage sitting near her, waiting for her to wake up. She looked around and noticed she was in the hospital. "What is going on?" Jane asked.
"You were in an accident this morning on the way to work and when I heard what happened at work, I just had to come see you." Gage replied.
To this day Jane doesn't know if what her mind tells her happened really did happen or not, but she still has the gem and now she has Gage as well. She couldn't be happier!
